The Arraia blade has a unique feature in the world of microblades, which is its ability to cut in a backward motion. The "back action" greatly facilitates the division of muscle fibers in the mucosal or periosteal plane, especially in modified VISTA ACCESS.  Blades with small cutting faces and which cut only in lateral/frontal movements end up leaving countless small fibers in their path, producing small imperfections in the preparation of the container bed.  The Stingray can easily trap these fibers laterally in its handle and, with a gentle retraction movement, eliminate these interferences.
